St. Augustine Square Engagement Session | St. Augustine, Florida | Mary-Beth & Chris
I am falling more and more in love with St. Augustine! There are just so many spaces to explore. This shoot was especially special (try saying that five times!) for so many reasons.
First of all, Mary Beth and Chris are friends! Mary Beth actually works with Annelise. So, all four of us met in the early morning to capture their relationship and then grab brunch! Anytime anyone wants to get brunch after their shoot, I am so down!
Also, this was the place Mary Beth and Chris got engaged! The little doorway you see them tucked into is where the magic happened! It was so meaningful to re-live that experience with them.
Mary Beth and Chris got engaged the opening night of the St. Augustine Night of Lights! If you don't know about this amazing event, you can learn more here. Since it was opening night the square was crowded and they escaped to this doorway where Chris popped the question!
Honestly, their story has inspired me to attend the opening night next year! I really hope to capture some couples while the lights are on. I may even convince Mary Beth and Chris to go back with me for an Anniversary session!

We met in person at the Grand Opening of The Clay Theatre AND I got to meet Christopher. We talked all about their wedding plans and lives. I was shocked to find they didn’t have a photographer yet! I guess if I really think about it, being a photographer makes it pretty hard to choose someone! I admire so, so many styles.
I value people feeling not just comfortable but safe with me. Safe to just be. Be honest about who they are and what their relationship means to them- how it has grown and changed and what they hope it will be.
I am so excited to share this joy-filled Engagement Session!! Dianna and Channing are getting married next year in Tennessee, and I’m SOOOOOOO excited to get to celebrate with them!
When we first talked she and Nick didn’t want to take engagement pictures. SO many couples feel this way! And I need you to know, here and now, that you are wrong. Of course you should take Engagement pictures and here are 3 reasons why.
