Treaty Oak and Friendship Fountain Engagement Session | Jacksonville, Florida | Brett & Jeff
Guys!! Brett and Jeff are getting married Spring 2020 at the Jacksonville Public Library, and I can not freaking wait.
I was BEYOND excited to meet them in person!
We started scheduling their engagement session the moment they booked. I’m so glad we finally got to hug and laugh and cry (yep there was crying) together.
We decided on Treaty Oak and Friendship Fountain even though I hadn’t done an engagement session with this combo location. I loved it! I think most of all because it was really perfect for these two. Jacksonville is a meaningful place for them, and I think this location choice really captured more of the story.
Brett and Jeff have been together 7 years! Seven!! It completely showed. They were just so comfortable around each other. They really knew one another and it made my job easy. I felt like I was with friends.
When I asked them to think about why they are most excited to get married, they shared the sentiment that it’s so hard to choose because their lives have been so intertwined for a while now. Then, Jeff said he was ready and whatever he whispered made Brett cry…. which of course made me cry.
We started with the sun in full force and ended with it setting. Everything was perfect. Enjoy!!
See more Engagement Sessions!
We met in person at the Grand Opening of The Clay Theatre AND I got to meet Christopher. We talked all about their wedding plans and lives. I was shocked to find they didn’t have a photographer yet! I guess if I really think about it, being a photographer makes it pretty hard to choose someone! I admire so, so many styles.
I value people feeling not just comfortable but safe with me. Safe to just be. Be honest about who they are and what their relationship means to them- how it has grown and changed and what they hope it will be.
I am so excited to share this joy-filled Engagement Session!! Dianna and Channing are getting married next year in Tennessee, and I’m SOOOOOOO excited to get to celebrate with them!
When we first talked she and Nick didn’t want to take engagement pictures. SO many couples feel this way! And I need you to know, here and now, that you are wrong. Of course you should take Engagement pictures and here are 3 reasons why.
